This Blog Is Going To Offend & Upset People…And I Just Don’t Care!!!

Before I am a husband, father, Pastor, family member, friend or blogger, I am a Follower of Jesus Christ.

I am not a Republican, Democrat, or Independent and I am not affiliated with any political label or agenda. I am a Follower of Jesus Christ.

I choose to take up my cross daily to follow Jesus. Which means I will be ridiculed, persecuted, made fun of, called names, verbally assaulted, I risk being physically attacked, all because I choose to stand on the Righteousness of God. (John 15:18, Luke 9:23, James 1:2)

The State of New York just legalized abortion, I mean MURDER, up until, literally the moment a baby is born. They call it the Reproductive Health Act (RHA). The same State that refuses to have capital punishment because they consider it barbaric, can now murder a baby by using the excuse that it’s the woman’s choice, or its for the health and safety of the mother. Allow me to address both of those foolish statements.

A Doctor out of Tennessee has said it perfectly. I will quote him but not mention his name on here because I do not know him and I do not have his permission to use his quote.
“As a board-certified practicing OB/GYN physician for over 30 years, I need to say publicly and unequivocally, that there is NEVER a medical reason to kill a baby at term. When complications of pregnancy endanger a mother’s life, we sometimes must deliver the baby early, but it is ALWAYS with the intent of doing whatever we can to do it safely for the baby too. The decision to kill an unborn baby at term is purely for convenience. It is murder.”

Perfectly said Doctor.

Spare me the argument about rape and incest. Let me publicly say that any man who rapes a woman, whether related to them or not, is heinous and is not a man what so ever. But under no circumstance should a child be held responsible for the sins and crimes of a sperm donor. Women, or those who force women, to murder their child, do it out of fear and or pure convenience.

I have been told this before and I am sure a lot of men have been…”You don’t have a uterus so you do not have a say”. That is a foolish statement and rotten to its core. This argument is as ridiculous as it is hypocritical. Murder activists welcome men who take their side, but use the “no uterus, no opinion” claim to attack men who disagree.

Let me also make it clear, it is the woman’s choice to murder her child but she will never be free from the consequences of that decision on Earth or in eternity unless she has been washed by the Blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness for her sins.

Here is a thought…What if i choose to drive drunk and I kill someone in the process? By the same choice logic, I shouldn’t be held accountable. If I want to go to the zoo and kill an animal, why should I be punished? It was my choice. Just because we call it “mothers/woman’s choice” does not change the morality of the issue. It’s legalized murder plain and simple. In response to this, someone is going to say, “drunk driving and killing animals in the zoo are illegal. Its not illegal to have an abortion”. Here is my response to that…Woe to you and all those who call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).

For those of you, in the Church, who claim to have a relationship with Christ, and say that no where in the Bible does it mention abortion (I detest this word by the way), or that it is wrong, let me tell you…YES IT DOES!!! Do you read your Bible? While the word “abortion” is not said, the act of it is. Throughout Scripture, God affirms the value of every human life—from children in the womb to the elderly. See Psalm 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 127:3-5, Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:5-7, Job 31:15, Psalm 22:10 and Isaiah 49:15. And better yet…a baby was the first human being to leap for joy at the Presence of Jesus (Luke 1:41). How can you truly call yourself a Christian if you try to justify the killing of a baby inside the safest place in the world, the womb of their mother?

People in and outside of the Church will say, “We have to obey the laws of this land. The Bible says so.” They are right…the Bible does say that in Romans 13:1-2. But we cannot “cherry pick” what Scriptures we live by in the Bible. We only obey the laws of this land UNLESS it is contrary to Gods Word (Acts 5:29).

Another excuse we all have heard…”If we over turn Roe v Wade then women will be getting abortions (murdering) behind street corners and in places that are not safe”. This horribly gut wrenching and sickening law that the State of New York has passed literally makes this legal. The law also now allows medical professionals who are not doctors to perform abortions in New York. HYPOCRITES!!!!

“Pastor Jon!!! Why are you so angry?” I am righteously angry at this once blessed and great country. I am righteously angry that Pastors and Churches have sat back silent on the legal murdering of a child being so afraid to offend tithe payers in their congregations. I’m tired of weak men, who call themselves Pastors and Godly men, going on national television and refusing to outright call abortion what it is…murder and sin!!!!

If there is ever a time, Church and Pastors, for us to rise up, it’s now. If there is ever a time for us Pastors and the Church to repent, it’s now. If there is ever a time for all Church and denominations that stand alone of the Word of God, to have unity, it’s now. It’s time for us to storm the gates of hell, vote righteously, speak the truth in love, fight on our knees in prayer, and unashamedly preach and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And yes…that means standing against legalized murder.

Let me end this blog with this…I am not pro choice or pro life for that matter. When I hear pro life I feel we are legislating and compromising with the government on still legally killing babies. I believe abortion, just like murder, should be outlawed!!!

  1. Ok, so I am pro choice and I want to weigh in here. For me personally, it’s not about wanting to kill children, it’s about having the ability to choose what is best for me and my situation.
I know people that have had abortions (yes plural) and at least one made that persons quality of life better, and at least one of them they regretted as soon as they did it.
I do not agree with it being legal all the way to term, however, 1st term abortions are perfectly fine with me.
